LARNED — Ralph Baird Motors and Larned High School will sponsor the Third Annual Drive One 4 UR School event from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Ralph Baird Motors is using Ford Motor Company’s Drive 4 UR School program in an effort to raise $8,000 for LHS.
Ralph Baird Motors and the Ford Motor Company will donate $20 for every person who test drives a new Ford; and an additional $10 for a test drive of a 2013 Ford Focus. Drivers must be 18 and have a valid driver’s license to test drive a vehicle. Only one driver per-household will count toward the monies for the promotion.
Joy Schmidt, LHS science teacher, said the money will help fund several LHS activities. A live radio remote, free food and drawings for prizes will also be offered.
Drawings include two Kansas State University tickets and a parking pass for the Dec. 1 Texas football game and two Ford Mountain Bikes. Donations are $5 or five tickets for $20. Raffle tickets are available at LHS or cross county and track athletes.
