LARNED — Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is coming to Larned. The United Way of Central Kansas and Pamida have provided the funding to start the program for children in the 67550 zip code, bringing it to the Jordaan Memorial Library.
Children from birth to five years of age will receive a book of their own each month after the child is registered.
The kickoff for the program will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at the library. Parents and their children are invited to sign up for the program that day. Computers will be available for online sign up. Mark your calendar and enroll your preschool child.
The Jordaan Library Book Club will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20 in the library. Come join in the lively discussion of books new and old. Find new authors. See the latest books ready for check out.

Kessler had access to hundreds of current and former FBI agents and to the FBI laboratory and training center. The FBI is involved in almost every aspect American life. Kessler has penetrated the wall of secrecy to write a powerful book.
