LARNED — The Larned Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a special coffee hour and reception at 10 a.m. Monday at the  Pawnee County Courthouse.
The reception will recognize Jacquelynn Schulze, Register of Deeds; and introduce recently elected county officials.
Elected officials will take their oath of office Jan. 14, to be administered by the Honorable Bruce T. Gatterman, 24th Judicial District Judge -- Julie Fletcher Cowell, Magistrate Judge, 24th District; Kathy Bowman, Pawnee County commissioner, District 3; Donna Pelton, Pawnee County commissioner, District 2;  Ruth Searight, Pawnee County clerk; Dolores Wren, register of deeds; John M. Settle, Pawnee County attorney; and Scott King, Pawnee County sheriff.  
Newly elected Pawnee County treasurer Kathy Jadwin starts her term Oct. 2013.  Coffee, donuts and cake will be served. The public is invited.
