The Larned Juvenile Correctional Facility’s Employee Activity Committee sponsored a bake sale to benefit the Pawnee County Humane Society Tuesday. Many LJCF staff participated, providing a variety baked goods which were displayed in the front lobby. Employees contributed to the cause by purchasing the cakes, cookies, and various snack items and/or donating funds.  Some staff chose to donate dog food, cleaning supplies, treats, and toys for the animals. The supplies and the donation were delivered by EAC members to the Pawnee County Humane Society, who were appreciative of the facility’s efforts. A total of $318.52 was raised.
