KINGMAN — Larned High’s Colton Massey captured medalist honors with a 74 at Kingman Country Club at the Central Kansas League Golf Tournament Tuesday. It marked the seventh consecutive time Massey earned medalist honors.
Hoisington’s Matt Mettling placed fifth (85) and teammate Ryan Broeder placed 10th. Larned’s Brandon Bartz placed seventh (85).
Hesston won the league title (344) followed by Sterling (347), Larned (365) and Hoisington (369). Larned also counted Braeden Corman (96) and Devin Burger (110). Hoisington also counted Chris Wright (93) and Austin Brantley (102).

Larned’s Massey earns sixth title
HALSTEAD — Larned High’s Colton Massey secured medalist honors with a 75 at the Halstead Tournament, his sixth consecutive first-place finish.
Massey finished two strokes ahead of teammate Brandon Bartz (77). Larned finished first with a 342 team total. Braeden Corman (90) placed sixth and Jacob Simmons (100) also counted.
