The Micro-Chip Clinic will be held at the Pawnee County Humane Society’s Annual Dog Swim at the Larned Swimming Pool.

PCHS presents the 5th Annual Dog Day Afternoon on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 6, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the Larned Swimming Pool. Admission is $5 per dog. Adoptable animals will be on display. There will be a Hot Dog Feed for $3.50 (includes a doggy bone).

The fee for the Micro-Chip Clinic is $10. A story in Tuesday’s Tribune said the fee would be $1. That’s incorrect. The Tribune apologizes for the error. The Doggie Dress-up Contest with voting and prizes will be at 7 p.m.

All proceeds will benefit homeless animals of Pawnee County, Lois Eye, president of the PCHS, said.
