LARNED — The Pawnee County Commission met Aug. 1 at the Pawnee County Courthouse. The following are approved minutes submitted by Pawnee Commission clerk Ruth Searight.
9 a.m. — Pawnee County commissioners Kathy Bowman, Donna Pelton and John Haas were present.
Kurt Demel, Pawnee County Highway Administrator, Commissioners signed two road crossing permits.
Commissioners discussed some boundary issues with Camp Pawnee.
Commissioners extended the county-wide burn ban for another seven days.
Commissioners worked on the 2012 budget.
10:05 a.m. — Mary Beth Herrmann, Pawnee County health administrator presented a WIC agreement, which the commissioners signed.
John Settle, county attorney, discussed and gave updates on the new Pawnee Valley Community Hospital project.

2:45 p.m. — Denise Wood, Community Corrections/Juvenile Justice Authority director, presented and discussed KDOC year-end outcomes. Commissioners approved and signed KDOC year-end outcomes.
