LARNED — The votes have been counted and the judges have made their decisions. The animals that will grace the pages of the Pawnee County Humane Society 2013 calendar have been decided in a public vote.   
The winners are Hilda (cover), Punkin’, Diamond and Sissy, Smook, Willie, Kitty, Glenda, Baby Cakes, Buffy, Brody, Tommy Joe, Buddy and Nellie. The calendar centerfold pets are  Cooper, Gus and Henry, Sullivan and Hooper.
“We want to send our warmest congratulations to all the winners but, most especially, we want to thank all of you who participated making our contest a success,” said Donna Morgan, Pawnee County Humane Society. “Again, thanks to everyone who entered the contest, and to all of you who voted on your favorite pictures.”    
If your pet is not on the list don’t despair — animals will also appear in other spots on the calendar.
