LARNED — It will have been three years in the making when Pawnee Valley Community Hospital cuts the ribbon at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony marking the end of their journey in building the new replacement hospital.
Everyone is invited to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15 at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital to celebrate the completion of this community endeavor.
Hosting the event, along with the staff of Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, will be the Pawnee County commissioners, John Haas, Kathy Bowman and Donna Pelton.
Tom Bell, president and CEO of the Kansas Hospital Association, will be the keynote speaker. Bell has witnessed the path that was cleared, not only to secure the critical access license and keep the hospital doors open, but then to move forward with the building of the replacement hospital.
Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital Auxiliary will be hosting a reception with cake and punch for all attendees.
