LARNED — The Pawnee County Republicans will sponsor a German Dinner fundraising event at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Larned Community Center, 1600 North Toles.
Dinner will be served starting at 5:30, followed by legislative candidates Mitch Holmes and John Ewy. Holmes is a candidate the 33rd District in the Kansas Senate. Ewy is a candidate for the 117th District in the Kansas House.
Steve Anderson, state budget director for Kansas Governor Sam Brownback, is scheduled to be a keynote speaker. A question-and-answer session is scheduled for Anderson to address concerns or issues.

Carry-out dinners will be available anytime after 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets will also be available at the door.
