School welcome set Aug. 13

LARNED — A teacher and school staff appreciation coffee hour is scheduled from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Aug. 13 at Larned Middle School.
The Larned Area Chamber of Commerce and the Ministerial Association of Pawnee County will co-sponsor the coffee hour for the teachers, staff and administration of the Fort Larned USD 495.
Tyler Schultz, president Chamber Ambassadors, will deliver the welcome. Jon Flint, Fort Larned superintendent, and building principals will introduce new staff and recognize current staff.
Rev. Paul Runnels, Escue Chapel pastor, will deliver a prayer. Refreshments and fellowship will follow in the school commons area.
Members of the Community, Chamber and Association are encouraged to attend.  
Faye Grandy of Sweet Traditions from Rozel will provide the rolls. The school district furnishes the coffee and tea at no cost. The Chamber and the Ministerial Association split the cost.
