The fall meeting of the Wet/Dry Routes Chapter of the Santa Fe Trail Association will be at 1:15 p.m. Sunday at Fort Larned National Historic Site. David Clapsaddle, chapter president, will present the program about the "Traveling Trunks." The trunk that accompanies and illustrates Clapsaddle’s book for youngsters, "A Long Way to Santa Fe," has been presented in a program at elementary schools in St. John, La Crosse, Larned, Hoisington, Rozel, Jetmore and Pratt, with many more to come. A hamburger-and-trimmings meal will be served Sunday.
