Bids for a new telephone system for Great Bend USD 428 will be opened Wednesday, and the school board will consider those bids during a meeting at noon Thursday, Sept. 24, at Park Elementary School, 1801 Williams St.
The board will also consider Park sixth grade teacher Kyle Vierra’s request to submit a grant application to Pet Smart for a fish aquarium. Approval of donations is also on the agenda.
Park Elementary School Principal Phil Heeke and other staff members will share information regarding the academic programs and the school improvement efforts at the school.
