Photo workshop with Jason Odell planned at KWEC

Professional photographer Jason P Odell will conduct a seminar this spring at the Kansas Wetlands Education Center, located northeast of Great Bend at 592 NE K-156 in Cheyenne Bottoms. Registrations are being taken now for the workshops that will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 19.
Odell (www.luminescentphoto.com) specializes in wildlife, landscape, and creative urban themes. He has authored 13 comprehensive photography guides, including guides to Nikon’s Capture NX, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, and Nik plug-Ins.
His photography has been featured by Nik software, Tiffen, Studio Photography magazine, Wildlife Photographic magazine, Singh-Ray Filters and Digital Silver Imaging.
Some of Odell’s previous workshops include Florida Birding, San Diego Birding, Holland Spring Tulips, Birds of Trinidad, Colorado Wildflowers, Alaska Photo Cruise, Ireland Photo Adventure, and South Dakota Badlands. His seminar at the KWEC will include tips on birding photography and post-processing tips.
Registration will be taken until May 5. Cost is $49, or $20 for students, and includes lunch. Seating is limited to 65.
