Police investigating Walmart bomb threat hoax
No arrests have been and investigation continues

 The Great Bend Police Department issued the following news release this morning.


At about 2:55 p.m Sunday, officers with the Great Bend Police Department were dispatched to Wal-Mart 3503 10th St. in reference to a bomb threat.  It was reported a subject called Wal-Mart stating there was a bomb in the store then the caller hung up.  Wal-Mart evacuated all employees and customers from the building.  

Once everyone was out of and away from the building, officers from the Great Bend Police Department conducted a search of the building.  There were no explosive devices located inside or around the building.  

No arrests have been made. Possible charges could include aggravated criminal threat.

The GBPD was assisted by the Great Bend Fire Department.
