Presbyterian Women to hold annual Rummage Sale
chu slt preby sale

The annual Presbyterian Women’s Rummage Sale will be held Saturday, April 5, in the Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church at 24th and Washington. Doors open at 8 a.m. and the sale will continue until noon.
The purpose of the sale is two-fold, sponsors said. The first is to provide minimal prices to the community on a large variety of clean, usable items, including small kitchen appliances, kitchenware, home décor, clothing for all ages and clothing accessories, linens, children’s toys, books and magazines, holiday décor, tools and hardware, luggage, and a lot of miscellaneous items.
The second purpose is to raise funds for the local agencies and services that Presbyterian Women support each year. Last year local support was given to the Salvation Army Red Kettle, the Barton County Food Bank, Family Crisis Center, the Life Giving Center, the Girl Scouts and the Great Bend church’s crisis management program. The Presbyterian Women also support world-wide missions.
