For the second year in a row Rick Remmert of Great Bend took first place in the 4,000-pound antique tractor pull at the Kansas State Fair. The event, sponsored by the Kansas Association of Antique Tractor Pulls, took place Sunday morning. In addition, he took second place in the 3,500-pound division and placed in the 4,500-pound division. Remmert has been tractor pulling for eight years and drives a 1953 International Harvester. The outside of the tractor must remain “stock” and the engines burn regular fuel.
