The Kansas Wetlands Education Center will kick off its spring Craft Series with a free class, “Recycled Rag Rug,” at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 29.
Learn how to create soft, durable rugs for the home with old, unsalvageable T-shirts. All it takes is some simple braiding skills. All materials will be provided, but those who want to make a rug in specific colors may bring their own T-shirts.
The KWEC is located 10 miles northeast of Great Bend on K-156.
