Surrendered Family Ministries will host the eighth annual “Exalt The Name of Jesus” worship event at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Crest Theater, 1905 Lakin Ave.
Choir practices are open to anyone age 13 years and older who is interested in participating in the area-wide choir. Children in grades 1-8 are invited to participate in the “Exalt The Name of Jesus” streamer team.  No experience is required and streamers will be available to purchase at the first practice if needed. Practices will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 9 and 16 at Community Christian Church, located east of Barton County Community College at 253 NE 30th Road, Great Bend.
