• Heartland Center for Spirituality in Great Bend will show the movie “Babette’s Feast” to conclude its spring Movies with a Message series. It will be shown at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, April 25, at the Dominican Sisters Motherhouse, 3600 Broadway Ave. Refreshments will be served, and there will be discussion time after the movie. A freewill donation is requested.
•  United Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Milberger, will celebrate its German heritage with a worship service conducted entirely in German at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 27. Milberger is located 16 miles southwest of Russell. A short German hymn sing follows the worship service.
