An item on last Friday’s church page in the Great Bend Tribune announced a soup supper and bake sale that is not actually scheduled, on a day that does not exist. The event was reported as taking place Friday, Oct. 18, at the First United Methodist Church. However, last Friday was Oct. 13 and the church is not planning a soup supper and bake sale, a spokesman said.
The Tribune regrets the error.
