Dominican Sisters to show 'Doubt'

Dominican Sisters of Peace will show the award-winning motion picture “Doubt” at 6:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, in the auditorium of the Motherhouse, 3600 Broadway Ave. A freewill donation is requested. Refreshments and discussion will follow the movie, which has a run time of 104 minutes.
This 2008 movie is set in a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, where a popular priest’s ambiguous relationship with a troubled 12-year-old student is questioned by the school’s strict principal.
“Doubt” is part of the Sisters’ Movies with a Message series. The next film will be “Journey of the Universe” (2011) on March 22, followed by “The Big Year” (2011), which will be shown on April 26.
