Dr. Stephen List, a second-generation missionary to Africa, returns to Faith Community Church, 293 West Barton County Road, Great Bend. The church will host meetings with Dr. List at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24,  and 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 26.
According to his biography, List was born in Lower Hutt, New Zealand, in 1941. Eight years later his parents responded to the Lord’s call for them to go to Central Africa as missionaries. There, the family of seven witnessed God dwelling in their midst and moving mightily in signs and wonders in response to having put their total trust in Him.
At the age of 17, List completed high school in Africa then traveled to the United States to attend seminary. After receiving his Seminary and Doctor of Divinity degrees, he returned to Africa to serve as a missionary, also heading a Bible college. Years later, List returned to the United States as a pastor over many churches and held many administrative roles. With such diverse experiences, he is recognized as a Pastor’s Pastor.
Today, Dr. List is circling the globe as an International speaker to world leadership, conducting leadership conferences, church conferences and crusades. He is in a position to know much of what the Holy Spirit is doing throughout the world. He has a fresh message and prophetic word, bringing hope and encouragement for the body of Christ regarding this present day.
