Julie Zeck is one of the featured speakers scheduled to minister at the 2015 Hearts Aflame Women’s Conference in Great Bend.
The ninth annual conference will be Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Central Kansas Dream Center Chapel, 2100 Broadway Ave. The east doors to the Dream Center will open at 8 a.m., with programs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Zeck is a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist at Sandstone Bridge Mental Health Services here in Great Bend, and a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. Along with a full-time career and ministry, she is also a mother and grandmother, and shares in her testimony that there have been many times in her life that God has reached down, drawn her out of deep waters, and set her in a large place.
“ Julie’s message had a profound impact at last year’s 2014 Women’s Conference, and she looks forward to speaking again at this year’s,” said conference spokesman Leslie Mayo.
The theme this year comes from Psalm 18:16 and 19: “He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters ... He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me.” (NIV)
There is no charge for admission, but a freewill offering will be collected. A soup and salad bar will be available over the lunch hour for a suggested donation of $5.
Other featured speakers this year are Michelle Gwin and Elaine LeRoy.
