The founders of the Roca Blanca Mission Base located in Oaxaca, Mexico, will be at  Faith Community Church today, Saturday and Sunday for the worship conference hosted by the church. Faith Community Church is located one mile west of 10th and Patton Road, Great Bend.
Marcie Smith, Roca Blanca mission base stateside coordinator, Great Bend, invites everyone to “come and be blessed by the humble and amazing praise and worship music that will take place and receive from the anointed teachings from the team during this missions conference. If you are in need of encouragement, healing, or hope you will not want to miss this conference.” The conference is free of charge.
Tonight’s service will start at 7:30 p.m. with the Roca Blanca Band leading praise and worship, followed by ministry from Duane Kershner, founder of the mission base. The conference will continue from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, with a lunch break taken, and with a evening service at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday they will be ministering again at 10:30 a.m.
In 1990, Duane and Sue Kershner were sent out by the local church they pastored in Larned to establish the Roca Blanca Mission Base, Smith said. Currently there are over 50 congregations led by graduates from the Roca Blanca Training Center. The following ministries are now in operation at the mission base: Victory Bible Institute, Victory School of Music and Worship, Roca Blanca Trade School, Corban Medical Clinic, Bethel House of Prayer, Short-Term Missions, Christian Spanish Academy, and Roca Blanca Middle School and High School.
