Tim Konrade and Blake Reif, two young men with hearts for Jesus, will be the featured speakers at the next Great Bend Aglow Lighthouse meeting, Saturday, Nov. 8, at Perkins restaurant, 2920 10th St. Coffee and social time starts at 9 a.m., with the program at 9:30 a.m.
According to program sponsors, Konrade will share how he began to seek the Kingdom of God, bringing others to salvation, and thanking God daily for the redeemed life he lives now. Addictions had been taking his life for years. He had lost everything. His home, many jobs, and his family were slipping away.
He will share how one heartfelt prayer pulled him out of this path of death and destruction. God took the broken and restored it back to life. This God we serve performs miracles within the blink of an eye and chooses the lowest of the low to show His righteousness.
Reif will share the importance of having a relationship with God in the college setting — the pressures and oppression that college students face. He will also share of the healing that comes through hope and faith in Jesus Christ. He will uncover some common misconceptions regarding what it means to be a man with a fierce heart and how all of us can allow God to direct our path.
Aglow International is a world-wide ministry rooted in local groups. It is open to men and women.
