A new video about Jesus for the Easter season will be released Friday by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Elders from the Great Bend ward said the video is about 2-3 minutes long and can be found on the website www.HeLives.mormom.org.
Elders Nati Talauega and Preston Allen said this video may also be found on social media with  #BecauseHeLives and on YouTube.
The website notes, “Jesus Christ lived. He walked the Holy Land, working miracles and teaching truth. Then, He was crucified. But His death was not the end. Because of His resurrection, we will live again. Because of His sacrifice, we can rise above sin to experience true joy. Join us as we share the good news with the world.”
The LDS Church is also introducing a special series of messages centered on the power of the living Christ. Those who visit the website may enter their email address to receive updates.
The LDS meeting house in Great Bend is located at 5851 Eisenhower. Sunday sacrament service is at 9:30 a.m.
