MACKSVILLE — The Christian Motorcyclists Association invites everyone to meet in the City Park in Macksville on May 4, for the fourth annual Macksville Bikes & Blues Rally. The event starts at noon with a prayer and the CMA’s “Run for the Son” ride. There will be food venders and camping available in the park.
There will be music by the Rev. Jimmie Bratcher Band from Kansas City, Mo. Bratcher, who recently released his seventh album, delivers heart-pounding blues. Other musicians and bands are expected, including Hound Dog Mike & the Crusade from West Virginia and the BigG Mac Combo from Andover.
On Sunday, May 5, biscuits and gravy will be served from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Shelter House. The worship service will be at 9 a.m. at the Band Shell. For more information contact Don or Rhea Overbey, 620-924-8814.
