A New Testament study, facilitated by Pastor Julie Shields, will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 3400 21st St. This study offers a look at the New Testament writings, the authors, a look at what the circumstances of the times and for what audience were they written. The ultimate goal is to understand and appreciate these books and how they apply to our lives today.
Each session begins with a 30-minute video followed by discussion and time to reflect. Everyone interested in further study of the New Testament is welcome to attend beginning Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. at the church. There is no charge for this study. For questions call 792-5346.
