The Roca Blanca Worship and Ministry Team from the Roca Blanca Mission Base in Oaxaca, Mexico, will be ministering in the Great Bend and Larned area Sept. 7-9.
The team will be ministering in English at 7 p.m. Friday at Glory Be, located at 7th and Broadway in Larned, and at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the meeting room at Perkins Family Restaurant, 2920 10th St. in Great Bend, for the Great Bend Aglow Meeting. They will also minister at the Assembly of God in Larned at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Surrendered Family Ministries will host “Festival Victoria in Great Bend” in Spanish at 6 p.m. Saturday in the courthouse square in Great Bend. This event will feature the band and it will be an incredible evening of worship and ministry, said spokesman Marcie Smith.
The Roca Blanca Mission Base was founded by Duane and Sue Kershner over 22 years ago upon leaving their pastorate position in Larned to go to the mission field of Oaxaca, Mexico. Today, the mission has planted over 50 churches that are led by graduates from the Roca Blanca Training Center.
The following ministries are currently in operation at the Mission Base: Victory Bible Institute, Victory School of Music and Worship, Roca Blanca Trade School, Corban Medical Clinic, Bethel House of Prayer, Short Term Missions, Christian Spanish Academy for those desiring to learn Spanish, and Roca Blanca Middle School and High School.
