Seeds of Faith Shared Ministry, a parish comprised of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hoisington, Hope Lutheran Church in Rush Center, and Peace Lutheran Church in Albert, celebrated the installation of its new pastor, the Rev. Wayne Baldyga, at a special service held on the afternoon of Sunday, Aug. 27.
Several area ELCA Lutheran clergy and lay people participated in the service, which was attended by a good number of congregational members and others from the community. A reception for Pastor Wayne, as he is known to his church community, and his family followed the service.
He and his wife Karen, along with their sons, Sam and Adam, came to Seeds of Faith Parish from Fitchburg, Massachusetts, where Pastor Wayne had served a Lutheran church for over 11 years.
