Pastor Timothy Floyd will present three inspiration sessions for youth on Saturday, Dec. 23, at the Great Bend Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1 mile west of 10th and Patton Road. The sessions, at 11 a.m. 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., will be interspersed with musical selections by area youth.
“If you are young at heart, then this is a special invitation just for you,” church members announced.
Floyd is the director of Young Adult Ministries for the Kansas-Nebraska Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He has served youth and young adults as a religion teacher and chaplain in Adventist education, and as youth pastor since 2006. Floyd is also one of the certified “Growing Young” speaker/trainers for the North American division of Seventh-day Adventists. He is the director of all summer camps at Broken Arrow Ranch near Manhattan.
