Trinity Lutheran Church, 2701 24th St., invites children to Kingdom Rock VBS: Where Kids Stand Strong for God. The church will hold its annual vacation Bible school from 6:-8:30 p.m. starting Sunday, July 28, and continuing through Thursday, Aug. 1.
At Kingdom Rock, sponsors said, kids from 3 years old through fifth grade participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing songs, play games, and dig into yummy treats, experience epic Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them to stand strong, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long.
Trinity Lutheran’s new youth director, Craig Gauerke, will lead a middle school crew, Rock Solid. This group is for kids completing grades 6-8, and they will go to different sites in town for bowling, skating, etc., then return back to Trinity for Fanfare Finale.
In addition, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with Fanfare Finale – a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in this daily special time from 8:05 to 8:30 p.m.
Registrations can be completed at the church. For more information call Trinity Lutheran church, 620-793-7894, or visit the website: trinitychrch@sbcglobal.net.
