Surrendered Family Ministries will be starting choir practices soon for the sixth annual Exalt the Name of Jesus areawide event to be held on Oct. 9, starting at 7 p.m. at the Crest Theater in downtown Great Bend.

If you are between the ages of 13 and 113 and you are interested in taking part in the choir, you are invited to come and participate by attending as many practices as you can make it to since it is not required to attend all of them.

There will be three practices held for the choir with the first practice starting on Sept. 19 at 1:30 p.m. and ending around 3 p.m.

All practices will be held in the sanctuary at the First Assembly of God Church on Patton Road in Great Bend. Please enter through the doors on the south side of the building.  September 26 and Oct. 3 will be the next two practices to be starting at 1:30 p.m. in the same sanctuary.

“For those who have never attended an Exalt the Name of Jesus event we want to encourage you to come and take part in a night of worship, music, and celebration,” Michelle Gwin, event coordinator, said. If you plan on participating or if you have any questions please contact Michelle with Surrendered Family Ministries at 620-617-1132 or go to the contact form on their Website at www.surrenderedfamilyministries.org.

Children between grades one and eight are invited to participate on the Exalt the Name of Jesus streamer team. This may require buying a set of streamers if this is your first time, but no experience is required due to its being kept simple. If you have children interested in being on the team, please contact Kimberly at 620-868-0502. The sign up deadline for the streamer team is this Sunday.
