The newly remodeled driver licensing office in Great Bend is reopening Thursday, the Kansas Department of Revenue announced Wednesday.
The redone office on the second floor in the Barton County Courthouse will have more space for customers and an additional driver’s license examiner to help serve more customers. The new examiner will start this summer.
The office offers full driver licensing and ID services including drive tests and written commercial driver’s license tests. It will be open 7 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
The office closed Jan. 27 for renovations. While closed, local customers needing service utilized other are offices.
