Nancy Rogers will serve as guest speaker, speaking on the power of prayer, when Great Bend Aglow meets on Saturday, June 12 at Perkins Family Restaurant, 2920 10th St. The meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m., with fellowship beginning at 9 a.m.
Rogers has been teaching the Bible throughout her Christian life. In her church, she has taught all the way from grade school to senior adults. She has also led a small group Bible Study for many years.
She serves as prayer leader of her church. Her heart is in not only praying for others, but also teaching others about the mighty weapon of prayer, believing prayer can change hearts and lives as people humble themselves before God.
Rogers has also been on a group mission trip to South Africa and fortunate enough to have traveled to Israel on two different occasions to follow in the footprints of Jesus. She has studied art and painted pictures since she was 10 years old, and enjoys painting realistic landscape pictures from photographs and real life.
All are welcome to the meeting and are invited to bring a friend.
