DODGE CITY — A Rozel woman was taken to Western Plains Regional Hospital in Dodge City after two vehicles collided at 10:59 p.m. Friday in Ford County.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Tomas Joseph Wilkerson, 17, of Beaver, Oklahoma, was westbound on U.S. 50 attempting to make a left-hand turn onto U.S. 56 and was struck by a 2006 Nissan Maxima driven by Everett Leon Myers, 38, of Rozel. Neither of the drivers was injured, but Shannon Dawn Myers, 39, a passenger in the Nissan, was transported to the hospital for a possible injury. All of the occupants were wearing seat belts.
Both vehicles were removed to tow lots.
