LARNED — Out of an abundance of caution related to COVID-19, the Annual Antique, Vintage and Collectible Show, originally scheduled for this month, has been canceled and moved to Feb. 11-13, 2022. Hosted by the Larned Area Chamber of Commerce, the yearly event will celebrate it 51st installment in 2022.  

“This is a precaution for the health and safety of our dealers, attendees, volunteers and community,” said Chamber Director Alex Filbert. “Although we would love to get together for this event, health and safety comes first. With that being said, we are looking forward to coming back better than ever in 2022.”

Last year’s event featured a fashion show highlighting the progression of women’s fashions in America from the 1800s to the present day.

Other show events include public sales, a dealers’ dinner, free appraisals of antiques and basement tours of the Santa Fe Trail Center featuring glimpses of artifacts not normally on display at the museum.
