The Board of Education will meet at noon, on Thursday, September 28, at Great Bend High School.

Principal Tim Friess and other staff members will share information regarding the academic programs and the school improvement efforts at GBHS.

Regarding the budget approved at the Sept. 11 board meeting, administrators note that boards of education must also adopt a resolution granting authority to make a Local Option Budget Percentage in the amount required when exceeding the Revenue Neutral Rate. Such a resolution is on the agenda and is considered a formality, with no change to the budget previously presented and approved.

Approval of grants and contributions is also on Thursday’s agenda.
