Students in the Great Bend High School band and their instructors will be recognized at Monday’s Great Bend USD 428 Board of Education meeting, set for 5 p.m. at the District Education Center, 201 South Patton Road. Students have earned regional honors collectively and individually this semester.

Other items on the agenda include making a recommendation to fill a seat on the Great Bend Recreation Commission, bus repair, and approval of the Title VI B and Early Childhood flow-through budget application. An executive session will be held to discuss an individual employee’s performance.

There will be reports on Kansas Reading Roadmap, the Great Bend Reading Initiative and grant applications and contributions to the district.
