ELLINWOOD — An Ellinwood man was arrested on drug charges last Friday after the Ellinwood Police Department, with the assistance of the Barton County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at a residence at 409 East First St.
The warrant was executed on Jan. 5 at approximately 9:20 a.m. EPD reports that, as a result of the search warrant, Carlton Robert “Robbie” Edwards was arrested and transported to the Barton County Jail. He was booked on charges of distribution of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains in custody in lieu of a $50,000 cash or surety bond.
