Season’s Greetings to everyone as played by the GBHS Jazz, Junior Varsity and Varsity Bands at 8 p.m. on Monday in the GBHS Gym.
The jazz band will kick off their concert with Now Rock, Ye Rested Gentlemen, followed by I’ll be Home for Christmas, Jingle Bell Rock, and Big Band Christmas. The Junior Varsity Band will play Celebrate the Season, A Still, Silent Night and Season’s Greetings. Varsity Band pieces are C’est Noel, A Holst Christmas, Scenes from “The Nutcracker,” and Feliz Navidad. The two bands will unite for Salute to Freedom, America on Parade, and Salute to America’s Finest. These groups are directed by Mr. Mark DeWald and assisted by Mr. Austin Russell.
The concerts are free to the public and everyone is urged to attend to get in the holiday spirit.
