The Great Bend Police Department and other agencies responded to a shooting incident in the 3900 block of Forest Ave on May 21. Although the suspects were gone when officers arrived, they were able to quickly ascertain the identities of the suspects, build a case, and obtain warrants for the arrest of the two suspects involved in the shooting. On June 11 one suspect Pablo Nunez was arrested, booked and confined in lieu of bond at the Barton County Jail.
