Square Dance Lessons to Begin

Fall Square Dance Lessons sponsored by the Hoisington Swinging Stars Square Dance Club and the Great Bend Recreation Commission will begin Friday evening at the Recreation Center Burnside Room, 1214 Stone, on the west side of the City Auditorium. This is a new location as previous classes.
Classes are for single and couples of all ages who like social gatherings, simple and fun aerobic activities, plus relief from stress. Beginners and long-term dancers are welcome to this mainstream class. The caller will be Lanny Reickert from Park City. Cost for the eight sessions is $22 per person with a minimum of 20 people, to cover the cost of the caller. Class time will be from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday evenings through Nov. 19.
This Friday will be for beginners with no obligation to continue. Dancers will be walking to the beat of the music and having fun as the caller “tells” the dancers what to do.
For more information or to pre-enroll, call Virginia Klepper, Class Coordinator, at 792-6068.
