WICHITA — A St. John dentist who also practices dentistry in Larned is recovering from a recent fall. Dr. Joe Rosenberg, a Great Bend native, operates dental practices in St. John and Larned.
Dr. Rosenberg was seriously injured in a fall May 24 in Manhattan. He was working on a rental property when he apparently fell from a ladder. Dr. Rosenberg has been transferred and is a patient at the Via Christi St. Francis ICU unit in Wichita.
Dr. Rosenberg sustained facial trauma and injuries to his right femur and right wrist.
“We appreciate all the prayers and support so far,” his daughter Katie wrote on her Facebook page. “We know God is in control of this situation and we know we are so fortunate that his injuries will heal and are not permanent. Thank you for everything so far and all that is to come. We are blessed to be surrounded by family and friends who know that nothing is too big for our God!”
Dr. Rosenberg graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry in May, 1984. He began practicing dentistry in St. John in July 1984 and established a second office in Larned in 1990. Dr. Rosenberg and his wife are parents to three daughters and two grandchildren. His family resides in St. John.
