Street work to begin
The City of Great Bend Street Department will be starting street repair at 24th St. and Washington Tuesday, weather permitting. Crews will be repairing 24th St. on the west side of the intersection. They will fix two lanes at a time starting in the middle (one lane on each side of the double yellow stripes and working out from there). The intersection will not be closed and they are asking motorists to be aware and drive with caution around the workers. The work will take approximately three weeks.
