On Saturday the GBHS Orchestra, directed by Isaac Enochs, and the GBMS String Rhapsody, directed by Jennifer Demaree, played at the Long Pumpkin Patch.
“It was a beautiful day with a great crowd and great fiddle music!” Demaree reported.
The GBHS group played “Simple Square Dance,” “Summer Stomp” and “Cookin’ Cabagges.”
The GBMS String Rhapsody played “Fiddle Somethin’,” “Woodsplitter Fanfare” and “Fiddles on Fire.”
Enochs said they have been hoping to play at the Pumpkin Patch for a while now and he was happy it finally came together.
Demaree said she is very proud of the String Rhapsody group and how quickly they were able to get the difficult music ready.
