STERLING – The Sterling Chamber of Commerce’s annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28, at the Sterling College Cafeteria located in the Sterling Union Building. The public is welcome to attend.

The meal will feature the traditions, turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, corn, salads, relishes, bread, dessert and drinks. Guests who wish to do so may bring desserts and salads.

Although the meal is free of charge, free will donations will be accepted. Canned and other goods (including soaps, detergents, cleaning items and paper products) for the area food banks will also be collected.

If one would like to volunteer to help on Thanksgiving Day, preparing food, serving food, washing dishes or delivering meals, call Diana Weber at 785-735-4443.
