The Coronado Quivira Museum is seeking items for an agricultural exhibit which will run for two years. The items needed are a pivot flowmeter, a drone, and a GPS onboard tractor system. Exhibit designer Don Traub needs these items by Aug. 11, so he can design and build cases or stands for them.
The agricultural exhibit will focus on the choices farmers have had to make from 1863 to the present. The 900 square foot exhibit will highlight key historical events, technology, science, and engineering, farming approaches, and the future of farming.
The Coronado Quivira Museum is located at 105 West Lyon, Lyons, Kansas. Call (620) 257-3941 if you can supply the sought items. The Museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
