Central Kansas Threadbenders quilt guild is sponsoring a trunk show of quilts presented by Laura Piland at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17 at Heartland Community Church, 4907 10th St. in Great Bend. The program is free to the public.
Piland is a native of Great Bend and uses her skills as a former math teacher to design quilt patterns. One of her most popular patterns is called “Exploding Heart.” This is a great opportunity to see quilts designed and made by her.
More information about Piland can be found on her Facebook page: A Slice of Pi Quilts. Information about this program may be found on the Central Kansas Threadbenders Facebook page or contact Mary Ann June, 620-792-6104. Face coverings are recommended although not required.
